Language, culture and VR: exploring language and culture without borders in a new dimension

Learning a foreign language through virtual reality. That has recently become possible at Language Institute Regina Coeli, also known as ‘the Nuns of Vught’. This makes Regina Coeli the first language institute to use virtual reality (VR) during language training to develop course members’ communicative skills.

During this session, we will demonstrate how VR has practically contributed to both language learning and experiencing situations in another culture — all without ever leaving the room.

Indicia developed a virtual human to practice languages with and will share all about it during this session.
